South Africa national team coach Hugo Broos has reacted to the numerous calls for the inclusion of RC Lens midfielder Ayanda Sishuba into the Bafana Bafana set-up.

The Belgian manager has released his 23-man squad for the Bafana Bafana's friendly games against Namibia and Congo DR, with the list causing a lot of controversies.

The first issue the former Cameroon manager had was snubbing Kaizer Chiefs players in his final squad after including three of them in his preliminary list.

According to iDiski Times, a lot of fans and South African pundits are bothered about the absence of Sishuba from the squad, and the Belgian manager is not going all out to get him.

The 18-year-old midfielder currently represents the Belgium U19 national team, and his performance at RC Lens this season earned him another call-up in this international break.

Sishuba is still eligible to play for the Bafana Bafana through his father, despite being born in Belgium.

When asked about the young playmaker, Broos gave a diplomatic answer, as he doesn't want to make any promises about a player whose mind is currently with another team.

"I said already we’re working very hard to know every player and to follow every player," he said.
"At the end, you have 40 players, and you can only select 23, so it’s up to me as a coach to know the right moment to call those players."

The young midfielder made a first-team breakthrough at RC Lens this season, but playing for the reserves last season saw him score nine goals and register two assists in 18 appearances.

Broos Aims to Meet Molefi Ntseki

Sports Brief earlier reported that South Africa national team coach, Hugo Broos plans to set up a meeting with his counterpart, Molefi Ntseki, to explain why Kaizer Chiefs players were dropped from the Bafana Bafana squad.

The Belgian manager had dropped all three Amakhosi players included in his 36-man preliminary squad for South Africa's upcoming friendlies against Namibia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Ntseki was upset by Broos' recent comments, and the Bafana coach said he wanted to set the record straight.
