The 60-year-old revealed on Tuesday that he has watched the Argentine star’s pass in the build-up to his debut goal against the New York Red Bulls at least 10 times.

“It is the first time I think I have watched a pass no less than 10 times because when I played soccer I liked to assist. I have no idea how he saw Cremaschi.”
Messi's pass unlocks New York's defense
New York Red Bulls players swarmed Messi after he received an acrobatic pass from Jordi Alba inside the box.
He remained calm and didn’t panic as he always does, before releasing Benjamin Cremaschi with an exquisite through ball with the outside of his left boot.
Messi’s weighted pass was absolutely perfect as he dissected New York’s defense by finding Cremaschi’s run on the right side of the box.
The Red Bulls tried to regroup, but their defense was already in disarray after Messi’s incredible pass.
Cremaschi returned the favor, hitting a first-time cross toward Messi, who was wide open in front of New York’s goal.
Messi made no mistake with his tap-in to score his first-ever league goal in the United States, per Yahoo Sports.
