After weeks of talks and speculation, Harry Kane finally completed his £100 million move to Bayern Munich from Tottenham Hotspur earlier this month.

The Bundesliga champions comfortably beat 4-0 Werder Bremen, with Kane scoring a goal and providing an assist for Leroy Sane. He is expected to make his full home debut this weekend against Augsburg on Sunday.

The 30-year-old is regarded as one of the best strikers in the world. He scored 30 Premier League goals last season in a frustrating campaign for Spurs as they finished eighth. He left as Tottenham's record goal scorer with 280 goals in 435 appearances.

Some felt he could have remained to break Alan Shearer's Premier League goals record. Kane scored 213 goals in 320 Premier League games; he is currently 48 goals behind Shearer, per Sky Sports. Could he break it one day?

Gnabry on Kane

Bayern nearly missed out on their 11th straight Bundesliga title last season on the final day. Borussia Dortmund's capitulation saw them emerge winners.

Bayern Winger Serge Gnabry revealed his thoughts about the England captain after playing with him.

“Everyone knows that he’s very down to earth despite his big success. He fits in well, talks to everyone. He seems like a good guy,” via Bavarian Football Works.

The German giants are hoping Kane can help them challenge for a 7th Champions League title. Moreover, the Englishman is also looking to win some trophies after falling short with Tottenham.

Kane tipped for Lewandowski’s record

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Harry Kane netted his first Bayern Munich goal in the Bavarians’ 4-0 victory against Werder Bremen in his first Bundesliga game, prompting high praise from Lothar Matthaus.

Bayern Munich had struggled to replace Robert Lewandowski last season after the Poland forward joined Barcelona, as the Germans struggled to retain the Bundesliga title on the final day.

Matthaus - a club legend - has tipped Kane to adequately replace Lewandowski with his goals this season, an area where the Bavarians were lacking last season.
