According to SB Nation, Matthaus - a legend of the club - has tipped Kane to adequately replace Lewandowski with his goals this season, an area where the Bavarians were lacking last season.

"FC Bayern missed this player last season. That’s why they had such big problems. Now they have a target player again who knows where the goal is. Above all, he leads the way."

Kane joined Bayern Munich for a whopping fee of €100million after leaving London club, Tottenham Hotspur, this summer.
