The duo's absence from United's squad in the previous few ties has proved costly, with the Red Devils recording only two wins in nine matches.
However, they could be in line for starting roles against Chelsea having been spotted arriving at the Lowry Hotel with the rest of the squad members.
Herrera has not featured for United close to a month now, having sustained a hamstring injury during his side's win over Watford at the end of March.

His return now provides Solskjaer a key weapon against Chelsea dangerman, Eden Hazard, with the Spaniard having previously been deployed to man-mark the Belgian.
Meanwhile, Bailly has also been a long-term absentee since being hauled off after a woeful outing at right-back against PSG in the Champions League.
He went on to suffer a head injury during the international break, further sidelining him from more action.

The two could now be deployed against the Blues, with the hosts in desperate need to bounce back to winning ways after a woeful performance in recent weeks.
A win could see them keep their top four finish hopes alive as they currently sit sixth on the log with 64 points.
