  • Hakim Ziyech has completed his move to Galatasaray after three years at Chelsea
  • It came at the third time of asking after previous moves to PSG and Al-Nassr collapsed
  • Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang aimed a shot at Chelsea with his Instagram story about Ziyech

Chelsea have been on a clearout spree this summer as much as they have been splashing the cash. Their latest exit is Hakim Ziyech, and the club received a brutal shot from a former player over the move.

The Blues have been on a rampage and spent close to £900mil since the Todd Boehly-led consortium took over the club from Roman Abramovich last year, including breaking the British transfer record twice for Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo.

The colossal spending facilitated the need to sell players to balance the books, and one of the recent victims is Hakim Ziyech, who left on loan to Galatasaray.

As reported by The Athletic, Chelsea believe they are complying with FFP rules, having sold over £250m worth of stars, including homegrown Mason Mount, to Manchester United for £60m.

Auba trolls Chelsea, Ziyech unfollows

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang appears to be the club's worst signing last summer when Todd Boehly was acting sporting director. He was signed for £12m from Barcelona, and the manager who signed him was sacked after 59 minutes on the pitch. He scored three goals and was let go for free.

During the tumultuous months at Chelsea, he became friends with Hakim Ziyech as part of the undesirable group in the team, and the relationship kept growing after the two left the club.

After the Moroccan's departure was confirmed, the Gabonese striker uploaded the photo of his mate at his new club and captioned it, "All the best my bro, free Hakim" This to spite the club after the former Ajax star saw two moves collapse.

The Champions League winner also quickly moved on by unfollowing the club on Instagram, further stressing the extent of the broken relationship between the two.

Galatasaray unveil Ziyech

Sports Brief reported that Galatasaray unveiled Ziyech at the stadium after their 2-0 win over Trabzonspor.

The player was in attendance for the match and disguised as a fan with a hoodie jacket. He was spotted in the stands by Lucas Torriera, and right there, the presentation began.
