Black Stars forward, Benjamin Tetteh, has completed his move to French Ligue 1 returnees FC Metz.

The 26-year-old signed a three-year deal to join FC Metz from English Championship side Hull City.

Tetteh has been in France since Monday but put pen to paper on Wednesday after completing the necessary formalities, including a mandatory medical.

"The offensive sector of FC Metz has a new element, in the person of Benjamin Tetteh! Coming from Hull City (English D2), the striker has signed up for the next three seasons for the Metz club. The Ghanaian is therefore tied to Garnets until June 2026.," FC Metz wrote on their official website, announcing the arrival of the lanky forward.

The former Sparta Prague attacker is expected to play a key role for The Maroons in the upcoming season.

Before moving to France, Tetteh spent time in Belgium, the Czech Republic and in Turkey, playing for Standard Liege, Sparta Prague and Yeni Malatyaspor, as reported by Transfermarkt.

His brief stint at Hull City in England was marred with injuries, forcing him to miss most of the season.

CAF suspends Benjamin Tetteh

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) has banned Black Stars forward Benjamin Tetteh for three matches following his role in the melee that ensued after the Ghana versus Gabon game.

The Ghana forward attacked a Gabonese player right at the end of the match, starting the scuffles that marred an intense encounter.

In a statement from the CAF's disciplinary committee, the player will first face an automatic two match ban before an addition one game suspension for indiscipline.

Monaco sign Mohammed Salisu

Ghana defender, Mohammed Salisu has completed his move to French club AS Monaco.

The 24-year-old signed a five-year deal to join the Ligue 1 giants from English outfit Southampton in the summer transfer window.

Monaco announced the signing of the defender after completing all paperwork on Tuesday.
