Neymar Junior has been a star since his teenage days, with the Paris Saint-Germain player already making headlines back in Brazil as a 14-year-old boy.
In 2006, former Brazil internationals, Romario and Robinho, had organised a match for charity in the country and a young Neymar stole the show after being invited to play in the game.
According to Sportskeeda, Neymar was seen doing stepovers, outfoxing opponents, and linking up with midfielders before joining the attack as he scored one of the best goals for a teenager.
Receiving the ball in the area on a counter-attack, he first faked a move to the right to fool the defender and the goalkeeper before shifting the ball to his left to catch the opponents off-guard and rolling the ball into an empty net.
The Brazilian would go on to play for Santos’ youth and senior teams before joining Barcelona in one of the most controversial deals for a teenager in 2013.
Neymar close to rejoining Barcelona
Meanwhile, Neymar is close to returning to Barcelona as the Catalan club are keen to take back the superstar they sold to PSG for a world-record fee, Barca Universal reports.
The hierarchy of the Catalan giants are reportedly fully in support of the 31-year-old forward’s return to Camp Nou in the summer - if their difficult financial state will allow it.
Neymar spent four seasons with Barcelona, winning multiple trophies with the reigning La Liga champions, including the UEFA Champions League in 2015 under Luis Enrique.
