Paris Saint-Germain’s bid to sign Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona could cause the world’s most expensive footballer, Neymar Junior, to move in the other direction.
PSG are set to wrap up the deal for Dembele before the end of the week after agreeing on personal terms with the French winger and are reportedly ready to pay the Catalans €50 million for his release.
According to Forbes, Barcelona has been offered their former player - Neymar - on loan by PSG as part of negotiations to convince the Catalans to part ways with Dembele.
The Parisians have been eager to offload the Brazilian and would see this as an opportunity to get rid of the player they paid a world record transfer fee of €222mil for in 2017.

The Brazilian star has struggled with injuries, been booed by supporters, and failed to bring the UEFA Champions League to the Parisians since completing a world record move in 2017.
Xavi is said to be 'incredibly disappointed' by Dembele after being told by the Frenchman - before the 3-0 El Clasico win over Real Madrid - that he wanted to return to his native country.
Meanwhile, Sports Brief reported on Neymar making a grand PSG comeback, delivering a sensational goal against Jeonbuk during a pre-season match for the Ligue 1 giants.
