According to Goal, the Man United academy graduate has spent much of the summer jetting around the world as he hunts for a new club.
The 30-year-old endured a testing spell at the City Ground last term, with injury struggles limiting him to just 20 appearances across all competitions.
Lingard banned from driving
His on-pitch struggles have seemingly spilt over to off the pitch, with the ex-United ace now banned from the road for six months.
BBC Sport reports that Lingard was charged on Friday, July 28, with failing to provide details about the identity of the driver of his Range Rover after it was caught speeding in August 2022.
The former England international appeared at Manchester Magistrates’ Court to admit the offence at a brief hearing.
His representative argued that the football star was not driving his car at the time of the offence but missed a letter asking for details.
However, he was found liable to the charges pressed against him and was subsequently banned and fined for the offence.
