Cristiano Ronaldo's youngest son, Mateo, did not watch his dad play live in Yanmar Stadium Nagai Stadium in Osaka, Japan, but he found a way to watch him through his phone.

Ronaldo and Al-Nassr were on the other side of the world playing a pre-season friendly against French champions Paris Saint-Germain.

Ronaldo's partner, Georgina Rodriguez posted a video on her Instagram stories, via CristianoXtra, that showed Mateo following Al-Nassr's game against PSG on a smartphone in Portugal.

Mateo didn't get to celebrate his dad scoring a goal, as the game ended in an entertaining 0-0 draw. The 38-year-old came close to scoring a goal but was denied by some outstanding goalkeeping from Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Al Nassr are set to face Inter Milan on 27th July. They open their Saudi Pro League campaign against Al-Ettifaq on August 14th. They narrowly missed out on the league title last season after finishing second, five points behind champions Al-Ittihad, per Transfermarkt.

Speed and Kardashian watch Ronaldo

Mateo couldn't be in Japan to watch his dad, but his big fans, YouTube sensation Speed, as well as socialite Kim Kardashian and her children, were in the stands to watch the former Real Madrid and Manchester United forward.

The celebrities even had a conversation during the game. Speed took that opportunity to ask Kardashian who she thinks is the GOAT between Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, a player she watched just last week.

Kardashian refused to choose a side and instead elected to pick both stars, perhaps to avoid the wrath of either Team Ronaldo or Team Messi.

Nadal settles GOAT debate

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on tennis star, Rafael Nadal revealing his GOAT preference in the unending debate on who is the greatest footballer of all time between Messi and Ronaldo.

According to a video recirculated on social media, the 22-time Grand Slam winner was asked by fans who he considered the better player.

He picked Messi but said he is a Madrid fan.
