The Super Falcons of Nigeria are one of the four African teams participating in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, starting in Australia and New Zealand on July 20.
South Africa, Morocco, Zambia and Nigeria will hope to go further than any other African side has done in the past.
For the first time at a FIFA Women's World Cup, Africa will have four representatives as the tournament welcomes 32 teams to Australia and New Zealand.
Nigeria are drawn in Group B alongside co-host Australia, Canada and the Republic of Ireland.

FootballRandy Waldrum’s side will begin their campaign inside the Melbourne Rectangular Stadium on Thursday, July 20, at 10.30 pm local time (3.30 am Nigerian time on Friday, July 21).
Their second game will take place on Thursday, July 27, inside the Suncorp Stadium as the Super Falcons take on Australia. The match is slated for 8 pm local time (11 am Nigerian time).
Nigeria will face off with the Republic of Ireland in their final group game on Monday, July 21 at the Suncorp Stadium. The match is slated for 8 pm local time (11 am Nigerian time).
The Super Falcons are the most successful side in African women's football as they return to the tournament for the ninth straight time since the first one was held in 1991 in China.
Team captain Onome Ebi said, as per DW:
"Our target is to go there and get to at least the last four, because the last time we got to the round-of-16 and we are working towards getting past that stage."

FootballFans in Africa can watch all 64 matches of the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, including Nigeria's three group matches on Supersport, the broadcaster said in a statement on its website.
TV viewers in Nigeria can watch the matches live on the free-to-air AfroSport, the official broadcaster. Several Youtube Channels will also air the matches live.
Sports Brief earlier reported that Super Falcons coach Randy confirmed the readiness of his players for the 2023 Women's World Cup, which will be taking place in New Zealand and Australia.
The 10th edition of the Women's World Cup will start from July 20 to August 20, with fans in Nigeria urging their players to shine in the tournament.
Ahead of their clash against Canada, the Super Falcons coach assured Nigerians that they should expect good results from his wards.
