The ceremony for the tournament will be held at Lusail National Stadium. With a capacity of 80,000, it is the largest football stadium in Qatar and will play host to ten games throughout the tournament. Additionally, the Lusail Stadium has all the makings of a legendary setting.

The brand-new Lusail City, built to prepare for the event and increase the country's tourism capital, would feature a stadium as its focal point. To further immortalize the 2022 Qatar National Day and the closing ceremony of the first World Cup to be held in the Middle East, the government of Qatar aims to convert the location into a community centre after the tournament.

Exactly one week before Christmas, on Sunday, December 18, the final will be held at the Lusail Stadium in Doha. The majority of the stadium's eighty thousand seats will be removed and given to various international athletic projects by Qatar's Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC).

Tickets to the event will cost more than usual (estimated between €150 to €1,500), but fans will find it well worth the investment in Qatar. Unfortunately, the host country's plans for that day remain unknown. However, as was previously said, the main celebration in Qatar takes place on December 18—the country's national day.

Traditional events for Qatar National Day include a fireworks display, a demonstration by the Qatari Air Force, including its fleet of aircraft, parades by the numerous parastatals responsible for daily life in Qatar, and an automobile showcase.

On the day of the final match, the host country will hold a party to honour the fact that it is the first Middle Eastern country to host the tournament. The event will be aired worldwide and streamed live via the FIFA+ app.
