Fans can't get enough of Lionel Messi, who is close to making his Major League Soccer debut.
Hard Rock International is trying to cash in on "Messi Mania", with the restaurant company launching a menu item that is named after the football icon.
They’re calling it the Messi Chicken Sandwich.
The Inter Miami star took to social media to promote the new product.
He appeared as a chef in the promotional video, with the Argentine star working in the Hard Rock kitchens alongside other people to create his chicken sandwich.

FootballHe winked at a customer who was eating his sandwich later in the clip. The video ends with a message: “Made for you by Leo Messi.”
Messi also had a caption for the video, writing:
"Another dream comes true! I am thrilled to introduce to you the new Messi Chicken Sandwich that I have created with @HardRockCafe, inspired by my favourite food: The Milanese! Don't miss out!"
Hard Rock issued a news release regarding its new menu item, writing that the sandwich is inspired by the World Cup hero’s love of the Argentinian staple, milanesa.
Messi added that milanesa is one of his childhood favorites that still makes him feel at home, wherever in the world he is.
According to Hard Rock, it is made up of melted provolone cheese, milanese-style chicken breast, fresh tomatoes, arugula, and herbed aioli. Those ingredients are topped with a toasted artisan bun.

FootballThe good news for fans is that the sandwich is already available at participating Hard Rock Cafe locations as well as Hard Rock hotels and casinos via the in-room dining service.
Sports Brief recently reported on a coach advocating for Messi to be given special treatment by MLS referees.
He said that the Argentine should get the 'Michael Jordan' treatment from league officials and feels he should 'get every single call'.
Messi is tipped to make his MLS debut for new club Inter Miami later this month.
