Aurelio de Laurentiis, President of Napoli, has made it clear that only Paris Saint-Germain can afford to buy Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, who is wanted by many clubs this summer.

Osimhen was impressive last season for Napoli, helping them to win the Scudetto after 33 years and recording his name in the history books.

Laurentiis on Osimhen's transfer

“The only club that could afford Victor Osimhen is Paris Saint-Germain. If Nasser Al Khelaifi wants to send in a bid of around €200m and we will wait and we see what happens.
“I personally think that Victor will stay here.”

Meanwhile, Osimhen is currently in Lagos where he is spending his holidays. He has visited many places, including the house where he grew up.

Osimhen urged to snub Man United

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Asiwaju Lerry, a close friend of Napoli's Victor Osimhen, has some advice for the striker amid speculation over his club football future.

The social media influencer recently slammed Manchester United for allowing veteran goalkeeper, David De Gea, to leave Old Trafford.

The Spanish keeper's contract expired at the end of the 2023/23 Premier League season and he left United as a free agent, with the Red Devils reportedly in the market for a new force between the sticks.

During his 12-year stay at Manchester United, De Gea won the Premier League, the FA Cup, the EFL Cup, the Community Shield, and the Europa League.
