Napoli midfielder, Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa has returned to Cameroon after a successful campaign in the Italian Serie A.

The Cameroon midfielder joined his hometown friends for a community football match, with hundreds of fans watching.

Anguissa thrilled spectators with sensational touches and skills as the crowd got entertained by the footballer.

In a video shared on social media, Anguissa is seen having fun with his friends as he spends his holidays in his native Cameroon.

Other Europe-based players spotted at the game were Inter Milan's Andre Onana and RC Lens' Jean Onana.

The former Marseille and Fulham star played a pivotal role as Napoli won their first league title in 33 years. Anguissa made 36 Serie A appearances, scoring three goals and providing five assists in the campaign.

"The Scudetto was amazing. Players are seen as gods. They are all crazy about us. The supporters give us so much love and even sometimes it is difficult to go out," he said, as quoted by AllezLesLions.
“The Scudetto was the first trophy I won but I was happier for the fans who have been waiting for 33 years," he added.

Anguissa joined the Italian outfit from English club Fulham.

Osimhen reacts to winning Scudetto

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Napoli striker, Victor Osimhem is yet to come to terms with his achievement for newly-crowned Italian champions, Napoli.

The Nigerian striker led the Gli Azurris to their first Italian Serie A title in 33 years after netting 25 goals in the season.

Osimhen also ended the campaign as the top scorer in the league, becoming the first African to win the golden boot in the Serie A.

Onana receives award in Cameroon

Inter Milan goalkeeper, Andre Onana is receiving all the plaudits following his return home to Cameroon after an outstanding season.

The 27-year-old paid a visit to the country's Minister of Defence, Joseph Beti Assomo on Thursday.

The shot-stopper was warmly welcomed by the Minister, where the duo, alongside other high-ranking members of the ministry, had a conversation about his future with the Indomitable Lions.
