Talented teen forward, Ernest Nuamah has finally been properly inducted into the Ghana national team.
The 19-year-old forward joined the Black Stars for the first time this week ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar.
Nuamah could make his debut for the four-time African champions in the penultimate Group E game in Antananarivo.
However, as custom demands, the FC Nordsjaelland winger had to perform the initiation dance.
In a video that has since gone viral on social media, Nuamah is seen displaying swift dance moves while his teammates cheered him on.
The youngster enjoyed an amazing season in the Danish Super Liga, earning him his maiden Black Stars invite from head coach Chris Hughton.
The Right to Dream Academy graduate scored 12 goals and provided 4 assists as Nordsjaelland ended the campaign in second place.
After the Nations Cup qualifier on Sunday, Nuamah and teammates Kamaldeen Sulemana and Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer will fly to Egypt to join the Black Meteors team, as reported by max.com.gh.
The Ghana U23 team are preparing ahead of the AFCON U23 championship in Morocco later this month.
Nuamah wins best player award
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ghanaian youngster, Ernest Nuamah celebrated his maiden Black Stars invite by scooping the best player award in Spring in the Danish Superliga.
The 19-year-old was voted the best player in the league by coaches following his outstanding displays for FC Nordsjaelland.
Nuamah, who has scored 12 goals this season, went from the sixth-best player in Autumn to being top in Spring.
