FootballSergio Ramos Issues Urgent Transfer Advice to Harry Kane Amid Real Madrid Interest
- Sergio Ramos has sent a transfer message to Harry Kane over a potential Real Madrid transfer
- Kane has emerged as a priority transfer for Madrid following the departure of Karim Benzema
- The 29-year-old notched 32 goals in all competitions for Spurs this season and is out of contract in 12 months
Sergio Ramos has urged Harry Kane to join Real Madrid if the Spanish giants come calling between now and the start of next season.
Kane's current deal with Tottenham Hotspur runs out in the summer of 2024, and it has been widely reported that the Englishman could be on the move if he fails to extend his stay at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the coming weeks.
Real Madrid are believed to be interested in Kane as the successor to Al-Ittihad-bound Karim Benzema, per GOAL.
Aside from Los Blancos, Premier League side Manchester United have been credited with a desire to acquire the services of the Spurs legend.
But Ramos, who brought his two-year stint with Paris Saint-Germain to an end last Sunday, has advised the 30-year-old not to turn down an opportunity to play for Real Madrid.
"My advice to any player is don't turn down the opportunity to play for Real Madrid. It is a special club that knows how to win," said Ramos, as reported by The Mirror.
The Spanish defender, who spent 16 trophy-laden years with Real Madrid, heaped praise on the three-time Golden Boot winner, suggesting he will be a good fit for Carlo Ancelotti's men.
"He [Kane] has an incredible physical presence. You can't score as many goals as he does in the Premier League and not be able to play the physical side of the game, but also he can play the technical side of the game as well, and I don't think he gets enough credit for that. Yes, he is a great goalscorer, but also he is a great football player as well."
