Goalkeeper, Andre Onana, has confirmed his readiness and that of his teammates at Inter Milan to beat Premier League champions Manchester City in the final of the UEFA Champions League.

Istanbul's Ataturk Olympic Stadium is the venue for the 2022/23 Champions League final between Man City and Inter Milan in a match that is expected to be tough on Saturday, June 10.

Going into the Champions League final, Pep Guardiola and his players are the clear favourites after they crushed Real Madrid out of the competition.

The Citizens forced Los Blancos to a 1-1 draw in the first semi-final leg at the Santiago Bernabeu before recording an emphatic 4-0 win in the return leg in England.

According to reports on Pulse and Pre Inter, Andre Onana made it clear that facing Man City will be challenging, stressing that the Italian side will win.

Onana wants Inter to beat City

“We really hope to win everything.
“We know it will certainly be difficult, up against a top-class opponent. But we’ll be there, wanting to add to Inters already great history. We will give everything on the pitch—our lives if needed.
''But we have to be well-prepared because a massive match awaits us against a top-quality opponent. However, I’m convinced that if we keep working the way we have been, we’ll have our chances.''

Onana celebrates reaching UCL final

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Cameroonian goalkeeper, Andre Onana reunited with his family at the San Siro Stadium after leading Inter Milan to the final of the UEFA Champions League.

The Nerazurri beat city rivals, AC Milan to reach the final of Europe's elite competition for the first time in 13 years.

Onana has been instrumental in Inters journey in this season's Champions League, keeping eight clean sheets and not conceding in four knockout games.
