Manchester City have reportedly slapped a staggering £145 million price tag on star winger Leroy Sane amid Bayern Munich's interest.
The German League champions are hopeful of landing the 23-year-old before the end of this transfer window after the departure of both Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery last season.

According to the Sun, the Etihad Stadium outfit are said to have sent an angry letter to the Allianz Arena side following their public courting of the winger.

Meanwhile, City might allow the winger leave if they get an offer around £135-£145 million for the star - listing him among top three of the most expensive transfers ever.

The Sun reports that Sane seems to be considering to return back home, but his club are yet to hear anything from the player.
Sane joined Man City from FC Schalke 04 in a deal valued around €50.5 million and his current deal with the EPL side runs until the summer of 2021.
