According to Sportskeeda, Hugo will face trial on June 20 in the scandal that dates back to Ronaldo’s days at Juventus in 2019.

Ronaldo joined the Old Lady in 2018 after sealing a 100 million Euros deal from Real Madrid.

Hugo owns Mussara, a company that signed a $538 million deal with Italian company Pegasus to distribute Ronaldo’s merchandise.

Ronaldo’s brother accused of Jersey fraud

As reported by Daily Post, it all started when the CR7 Museum logo replaced the Adidas logo on Ronaldo’s jersey.

Hugo is also the manager of the CR7 Museum and the jerseys which had the logo were termed as fake.

Juventus is reported to have seize 13,000 of these ‘fake’ jerseys. Ronaldo’s brother’s company, Mussara, denied any deal with Pegasus.

The Italian company argued that it was Hugo himself who authorized using the CR7 museum logo instead of Adidas.

Pegasus also claimed that these same ‘fake’ Cristiano Ronaldo jerseys were also sold at the museum in Madeira, Portugal.

Pegasus are now suing Hugo, and the court date, as mentioned earlier, has finally been set for June 20 this year.

Ronaldo shows off luxurious watch

Sports Brief reported earlier that Cristiano Ronaldo has been spotted donning an expensive watch worth an eyewatering £750,000 during his time off from Al-Nassr.

Eagle-eyed fans took note of the expensive timepiece after the veteran striker gave his millions of followers on Instagram a glimpse of him relaxing.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner posted a photo of himself chilling in what appeared like an outdoor set-up with a cup of coffee.
