Manchester City players let loose and attended a nightclub on Sunday, hours after lifting the Premier League title in front of their fans at the Etihad Stadium.

Pep Guardiola's side were handed the trophy after their 1-0 win over Chelsea, with two more games to come before the 2022/2023 season comes to a close this weekend.

Guardiola still has two finals to prepare for, with Manchester City set to face Manchester United in the FA Cup final and Inter Milan in the Champions League final. He, however, seemingly gave his stars a night off and they maximised it by going to a nightclub in Manchester.

The celebrations began in the dressing room, where they had beers and pizza before heading out to the pitch, where they received their medals.

As Talk Sport reports, the players were joined by their girlfriends and partners, with Erling Haaland surprisingly choosing to wear a pyjama. The Norwegian, whose 36 goals have played a huge part in City's third title in a row, was accompanied by his girlfriend, Haugseng Johansen, who also wore a silky blue dress. His father, Alfie Haaland, was also in attendance.

The club's skipper Ilkay Gundogan, whose contract expires at the end of the season, was present with his wife, Sara Arfaoui. His midfield compatriot Kevin De Bruyne went for a more official look alongside his wife, Michelle Lacroix.

John Stones, who has played a number of hybrid positions this season, graced the occasion in jeans with his wife, Olivia Naylor. Rodri, Bernardo Silva and Phil Foden also attended the event alongside their partners.

Sports Brief also reported that Haaland showed his humble side as he momentarily left an on-pitch interview to dance with fans following City's title triumph.

The Citizens were officially handed the English Premier League crown over the weekend, shortly after their clash against Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium.

Haaland was once again the centre of attraction during Man City's Premier League trophy presentation, making time to celebrate with jubilant home supporters.
