Embattled Manchester City ace, Benjamin Mendy spent Sunday afternoon at a Cheshire restaurant as he watched his teammates lift the Premier League title.
The Frenchman has not played for the Citiyzens for over a year after he was suspended by the club, as he continues to face assault charges.
However, that has not stopped him from keeping close tabs on his team, which he joined in 2017 from French side Monaco.
The Mirror reports that the left-back made a rare appearance at the Juniper Restaurant in the company of two friends.
The 28-year-old was spotted watching Manchester City lift the Premier League title shortly after their 1-0 win over Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium.
City were crowned the champions with two games to spare. after it became impossible for title rivals Arsenal to mathematically catch up with them.
Benjamin Mendy's troubles
Mendy is reportedly set to face retrial this summer on one count of sexual assault and another of attempted sexual abuse.
Back in January, the France international was cleared of seven serious charges, including five sexual abuse charges.
According to Sky Sports, the jury was subsequently discharged after it failed to reach a verdict on two further charges.
Meanwhile, it now remains to be seen if City will keep Mendy at the club beyond this summer, with the defender's contract at the Etihad Stadium set to expire at the end of the season.
