Paul Pogba could not help but break down in tears after he suffered yet another injury blow just 24 minutes into his first start for Juventus this season.

The French midfielder sealed a sensational return to the Italian club in the summer of 2022 after his contract at Manchester United expired.

However, his second spell with the club has not gone according to plan, with injuries keeping him sidelined for the better part of the season.

According to The Sun, Pogba seemed to have finally regained full fitness when he was drafted into the starting XI as Juve took on Cremonese at the Allianz Stadium.

Paul Pogba forced off

However, the World Cup-winning midfielder could only last 24 minutes in the Serie A clash as he was forced off with yet another injury.

BT Sport reported that Pogba appeared to have pulled up again, and the injury did not look good.

Juve boss Max Allegri had no choice but to sub off the former Manchester United ace.

The 30-year-old France international was absolutely devastated as he hobbled off the pitch in tears.

Pogba could hardly control his emotions as he held his shirt over his face as he went off and was replaced by Arkadiusz Milik.

Juve went on to secure a 2-0 win during the encounter, with goals from Nicolo Fagioli and Bremer securing them the result.
