George Weah who is the President of Liberia has joined football fans around the world to congratulate Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen for winning this season's Serie A title with Napoli in incredible fashion.
Osimhen did not only win the Scudetto but surpassed Weah's goal record in the Serie A as the Nigerian is now the leading African scorer in the history of the Italian League with 47 goals.
Weah with 46 goals held that record for many years before Osimhen broke it.
The 56-year-old took to his official Facebook page to commend Osimhen and also urged the Super Eagles star to win the Scudetto again for the second time.

Michael Essien celebrates Osimhen
Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Ghana and Chelsea legend, Michael Essien has congratulated Nigeria striker, Victor Osimhen, after winning the Serie A title with Napoli.
The Super Eagles forward inspired Napoli to their first league title in 33 years after scoring 23 Serie A goals this season. Osimhen could add to his tally with four matches remaining.
In winning the league with Napoli, the 24-year-old also broke George Weah's long-standing Serie A record as the African player with the most goals in the Italian league, netting his 47th goal against Fiorentina last Sunday.
Osimhen's accomplishment has been celebrated across the continent with the likes of Didier Drogba all paying tribute to the striker.
