Eden Hazard’s football career could end soon as the Belgian forward is considering retiring from professional football when his current Real Madrid contract expires.
The Belgian winger was rated as one of the best wingers in the world at some point and was snapped up by Real Madrid in 2019 for a then British transfer record of £142m from Chelsea.
According to Sportskeeda, Hazard is now set to hang up his boots after the 2023/24 season following a career plagued with injuries and loss of form during his four-year spell with Los Blancos.

Despite having a limited role in the team under Carlo Ancelotti, the 32-year-old forward has won all major trophies, including the UEFA Champions League and, most recently, the Copa del Rey.
Hazard has already announced his retirement from international football in 2022 after Belgium was eliminated from the FIFA World Cup.
Hazard is not leaving Real Madrid
Meanwhile, Eden Hazard has revealed he wants to fulfil his contract at Real Madrid and is not considering leaving the Spanish giants at the end of the season, Marca reports.
The 32-year-old forward revealed the 2022/23 campaign has been a tough one for him personally as he has failed to feature constantly for Los Blancos.
Hazard has one year left on his contract at Real Madrid and is one of the players who could leave the reigning La Liga champions in the summer.
