Lionel Messi’s relationship with Paris Saint-Germain seems to have broken down completely after the club punished the forward for making an unsanctioned trip to Saudi Arabia.
Messi was suspended and fined two weeks’ wages by PSG for the act, which seems to have upset the Argentine superstar at the club’s hierarchy.
According to Sportskeeda, Messi who was also a target of protests recently by the club’s fans is reportedly considering the option of terminating his contract at PSG within the next 10 days.

The 35-year-old whose current deal with PSG runs out at the end of the season wants to leave the club before they are crowned as Ligue 1 champions as he tries to force his way out.
Messi joined PSG amid fanfare in 2021, but the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner has failed to replicate his best form for the Parisians which has caused fans to turn on him recently.

Meanwhile, former Argentine midfielder, Javier Mascherano, has warned Paris Saint-Germain supporters that they will regret criticising Lionel Messi, Goal reports.
Mascherano insists PSG were lucky and should be grateful they had the all-time great play for their team as Messi does not deserve the treatment he has gotten from the Parisian fans.
Disgruntled PSG fans had gathered in front of the club’s headquarters in protest as they called for Messi to leave the club after it was gathered the forward did not intend to extend his current contract.
