According to Barca Universal, Jorge Messi, Messi's father and agent, is set to hold new talks with Inter Miami owner Jorge Mas about a possible move to the MLS.

Inter Miami hopes to beat Barcelona, Inter Milan, and Saudi top club Al Hilal to the signature of the Argentine, whose time in Paris has yet to meet the expectations of the PSG fans.

PSG condemns abuse of Messi

Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain has condemned the abuse aimed toward Lionel Messi and Neymar by an angry group of protesting supporters, Goal reports.

On Wednesday, a fervent group of fans known as the SG Ultras gathered outside the club's headquarters as well as Messi and Neymar's homes to air their grievances.

PSG insisted that nothing justifies the supporters' actions, and they have fully supported its players, staff, and all those targeted by such shameful behaviour.

Lionel Messi suspended and fined

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Paris Saint-Germain have suspended Lionel Messi for two weeks after his unauthorised trip to Saudi Arabia.

The trip followed the French club's home defeat by Lorient on Sunday, in which Messi played the full 90 minutes.

Neither Galtier nor sporting adviser Luis Campos approved the trip, so the club opened disciplinary proceedings.
