Essien Makes Bold Prediction About the Future of Three African Youngsters

Former Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien has predicted a bright future for three African youngsters in Denmark.

The Ghana legend who is based in the European nation, where he works with FC Nordsjaelland as assistant coach has spotted three players he thinks will be stars in future.

According to Nigerian journalist Lolade Adewuyi, Essien named Ghanaian duo, Ernest Numah and Ibrahim Osman as well as Ivorian, Mario Dorgeles, as the players to watch.

"Michael Essien told me yesterday, these are the future African stars. FC Nordsjaelland’s Ernest Nuamah (Ghana, age 19), Mario Dorgeles (CIV, 18) & Ibrahim Osman (Ghana, 18). They all came to Denmark from the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana," he wrote on Twitter.

While Osman is just breaking into the first team of FC Nordsjaelland, Dorgeles and Nuamah have been consistent thus far.

Nuamah has been the livewire of Nordsjaelland, scoring 11 goals across all competitions as they continue their quest for the league title.

The 19-year-old is already attracting interest from French giants Olympique Marseille.

Just like Mohammed Kudus and Kamaldeen Sulemana, the youngsters are expected to follow in the footsteps of the former Nordsjaelland stars.

Nuamah scores brace in Danish Cup

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Highly rated Ghanaian teen, Ernest Nuamah continued his rich run of form in Denmark after netting a brace in FC Nordsjaelland's victory in the Danish Cup quarter-final against Aarhus Fremad.

The 19-year-old's goals ensured Nordsjaelland defeated their hosts 3-0 following a first half masterclass.

Nuamah, who was on target over the weekend in the 4-2 victory over OB, increased his tally for the campaign to eight goals across all competitions.

Asamoah Gyan hails Nuamah

Former Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan has praised Black Meteors forward Ernest Nuamah after his dazzling display in the victory over Algeria.

The FC Nordsjaelland youngster provided the assist for Abdul Fatawu Issahaku's winner as Ghana qualified for the Africa U23 Cup of Nations.

Nuamah was the toast of fans at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium as he exhibited superb skills and dribbling ability.
