Highly rated Ghanaian teen, Ernest Nuamah continued his rich run of form in Denmark after netting a brace in FC Nordsjaelland's victory in the Danish Cup quarter-final against Aarhus Fremad.

The 19-year-old's goals ensured Nordsjaelland defeated their hosts 3-0 following a first half masterclass.

Nuamah, who was on target over the weekend in the 4-2 victory over OB, increased his tally for the campaign to eight goals across all competitions.

Mads Hansen opened the scoring for the league leaders in the 11th minute before Nuamah doubled the lead from the spot. The youngster then curled home with nine minutes remaining in the first half.

Nordsjaelland manager Johannes Thorup said:

"If we had talked in advance about going over here and winning 3-0, we would of course not be unhappy with that. And neither am I now. I am also satisfied with the first half, where we create the chances we need, and we are good under pressure and exploit the right spaces. But the balance is the biggest point of criticism, and we couldn't find it in the second half. We couldn't figure out when to play deep, when to keep the ball and it all becomes unbalanced."

Marseille target Ghanaian teen

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ghanaian youngster Ernest Nuamah has popped up on the radar of French giants Olympique Marseille in the winter transfer window.

The 19-year-old, who plays for FC Nordsjaelland in Denmark, has caught the attention of Marseille with his dazzling performances in the Super Liga.

According to Foot Mercato, the former UEFA Champions League winners are interested in signing the Ghanaian forward.
