The duo were at one point spotted arguing on the pitch as the Bavarians struggled to cope with the English giants.

According to BILD, Mane and Sane continued their argument in the tunnel after the match before tempers flared in the dressing room.

The former Liverpool star then punched Sane on the mouth, leaving the winger with a broken lip.

Bayern Munich are yet to react to the reports despite multiple reports revealing the incident.

Meanwhile, Rodri opened the scoring for Manchester City with a ferocious strike in the first half before second-half strikes from Bernardo Silva and Erling Haaland ensured City took a huge lead to Germany.

Bayern Munich interested in Osimhen

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Bayern Munich have reportedly joined the race to sign Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen and are said to be willing to pay Napoli the €100 million asking fee.

This latest piece of transfer news means the Bavarians could hijack the signature of the Super Eagles striker from the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Paris Saint-Germain.

Since the departure of Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona, Bayern have been struggling in front of goals and are yet to find a good replacement for the veteran striker.

Tuchel blames Upamecano for Bayern defeat

Bayern Munich manager, Thomas Tuchel has blamed Dayot Upamecano for his side's chastening defeat against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.

Goals from Rodri, Bernardo Silva, and Erling Haaland put the Premier League outfit firmly in the driver's seat ahead of the return leg next Wednesday.

Surprisingly, City often ceded possession to the visitors but duly punished their German counterparts in key moments of the game to secure the one-sided result.
