  • A video of Bernardo Silva's incredible dribble against Bayern Munich has emerged
  • The Manchester City star was also on target as the Citizens record a 3-0 win
  • City and Bayern will renew hostilities next Wednesday when both sides clash for the reverse tie

Bernardo Silva did his best impression of Lionel Messi as he brilliantly dribbled past four Bayern Munich players in a stunning moment for Manchester City.

The Man City star was on the scoresheet in his side's 3-0 win over the Bavarians at the Etihad on Tuesday night.

The 28-year-old produced a moment of magic as he mesmerised Bayern stars Alphonso Davies and Leon Goretzka in an amazing sequence.

In a video posted on Twitter, spotted by Sports Brief, Silva received the ball from the right-wing and drove at the Bayern defence with attacking intent.

He then weaved his way across the pitch, incredibly dealing with any challenge that came his way inside the box.

The City player provided plenty of nutmegs, and he almost made a goal out of thin air.

We would be talking about one of the all-time greatest Champions League assists if City had been successful in scoring thanks to the magic of the Portugal international.

Rodri scores a worldie

Meanwhile, Rodri scored an absolute blinder of a goal in their quarterfinal tie against Bayern Munich on Tuesday night.

The Spanish midfielder broke the game's deadlock with a stunning curler, which kissed the roof of the net, much to the admiration of the Etihad Stadium crowd.

The strike is the midfielder's first goal in Europe's premier club competition and, more importantly, put Man City in the driving seat in the blockbuster matchup.

Haaland's record vs Bayern

Sports Brief also reported earlier that Erling Haaland is back facing familiar foes as Manchester City gear up to face Bayern Munich in a mouth-watering UEFA Champions League clash.

With eight teams remaining in the competition, Pep Guardiola’s Man City will hope to finally break the duck after falling short of European glory for more than a decade.

Putting aside the fact that Haaland has scored 44 goals across all competitions this campaign, the 22-year-old also has a knack for scoring against the Bavarians and has five goals in seven games against them.
