“Osei Kuffour has done his best. For Ibrahim Tanko, it was my brother who brought him to the team but at the time we needed a coach, he turned his back on us. He rejected us and accepted to be the technical director of Accra Lions because of money,” Grusah told Vision 1 FM, as quoted by Football Ghana.
“Because I couldn't afford his demands, Tanko also didn't think about the good things I have done for him years ago," he added.

Tanko recently led the Black Meteors to secure qualification for the Africa U23 Cup of Nations in Morocco.

Tanko scores in legends clash

Sports Brief previously reported on Tanko showing he still has his skills after a superb goal and assist in Dortmund's legends game last August.

The coach of the Ghana under-23 team was joined by former Black Stars manager, Otto Addo and former teammate, Mallam Yahaya at the event.

In a video circulating online at the time, Tanko scored a brilliant goal as Dortmund's yellow team convincingly beat the black team by four goals to one.
