Everton midfielder, Alex Iwobi has discussed how his legendary uncle, Jay-Jay Okocha made his game special during four years in the Premier League while playing for Bolton Wanderers.
Okocha is no doubt one of the greatest footballers to have come out of Africa, considering his style of play for both clubs and for the Nigerian national team.
He was known then for his excellent skills including dribbling, accurate passes, and free kicks, as well as often taking on the responsibility of helping his team win.
According to an interview with Iwobi by the BBC, Okocha was able to shine under Sam Allardyce at Bolton because of his skills and because he added 'a bit of spice and flair' to his game.

Iwobi learned from watching Okocha
"I never really trained with [Okocha] but luckily, I was able to watch his training sessions when he was at Bolton when Sam Allardyce was manager. And I’d see how, obviously Allardyce, he had his way of playing football, but my uncle liked to add a bit of spice, a bit of flair to it.''
Okocha moved to Bolton from Paris Saint-Germain in 2002 and featured in 124 games, netting 14 goals before he left in 2006.
The former Super Eagles captain helped the Whites to the League Cup final in 2004 and in the club’s first-ever sojourn into European football.
