Ansu Fati put up a scintillating performance as Barcelona blazed past Elche on Saturday at the Estadio Manuel Martinez Valero.
The 20-year-old Spaniard, who lasted 83 minutes in the 4-0 rout, capped his display with a spectacular goal as he made his first start since March 3 against Valencia.
Fati has struggled with his form and fitness and has fallen to Barcelona's bench under Xavi.

Fati scores first goal since October
Ansu put aside the uncertainty surrounding his future with an assured display at Elche.
The Barcelona No.10 took a pass from Ferran Torres in his stride before storming into the opposition box from his own half and eventually rifling an unstoppable drive past the Elche goalie, Football Espana reports
His performance comes off his dad's explosive interview, where he criticized the club for reducing his son to a benchwarmer and even threatened to take him away from Camp Nou.
He would hope to churn out similar or improved performances as the Catalan giants near their first La Liga crown since the 2018-2019 season.

Fati, Xavi hold crisis talk
Before notching his stunning goal against Elche, Ansu Fati attempted to contain the fallout after his father recently criticised Barcelona for the forward's lack of playing time under Xavi, Sports Brief reported.
In a previous interview, when he criticised the Catalan giants, Bori Fati admitted that he was upset with Barcelona, particularly with Xavi, for consistently leaving his son on the bench.
Ansu Fati met with Barcelona manager Xavi after the event and has since distanced himself from his father's reaction.
