Achraf Hakimi's wife, Hiba Abouk has broken her silence on the sexual assault charges slapped on her Paris Saint-Germain star spouse.
The 36-year-old actress used the photo-sharing App, Instagram to inform her 1.7 million followers that she and Hakimi had ended their relationship.
Hakimi was charged with assault in February after the police approached the prosecutors. The woman sought assistance from the authorities since she did not want to file a complaint.
Via his legal counsel, the PSG defender has refuted the accusations and has kept playing for the French side and for Morocco, per the Sun.

Breaking her silence on the matter, Abouk revealed that her separation from Hakimi took place before the alleged assault, explaining she no longer lives with him and they are going through a divorce.
“It goes without saying that I have always been and will always be on the side of the victims. Therefore, given the seriousness of the accusations, we can only trust in the good work of justice,” she wrote, as quoted by GOAL.
Hakimi under investigations for assault
Sports Brief previously reported on Hakimi being in trouble after reportedly inviting a woman to his house while his wife and sons were on vacation.
According to the reports, his 'guest' reported the Atlas Lions player to police for allegedly forcing himself on her at his residence in the Paris.
