Football fans were all left with the same comment to Cristiano Ronaldo’s apparent sentiments after Al Nassr’s latst game in the Saudi Arabia top flight on Saturday, March 3.

Ronaldo, despite a prolific February, did not find the net , but his side staged a dramatic, and almost impossible comeback while trailing the game after 90 minutes.

The referee added on 12 minutes of stoppage time and Al Nassr somehow managed to score three goals to beat their rivals on the day Al Batin.

According to various outlets, Ronaldo appeared to say "easy game, what an easy game" in Portuguese.

Fan reactions

On social media, fans all seemed to be in agreement that Al Nassr have it fairly easy in the league, especially after somehow managing to score three stoppage time goals.

One fan however attempted to put things to context by claiming Ronaldo actually said “too easy” sarcastically to imply that he meant the game was a close call.

Ronaldo joined Al Nassr in January 2023 after a sensational fallout with his former club Manchester United.

Prior to having his deal ripped up, Ronaldo did an explosive interview where he claimed he had no respect for Erik Ten Hag, the United manager.

Ronaldo denied by goal line clearance

Sports Brief also reported on the massive chance Ronaldo had to extend his goal-scoring tally against Al Batin on Friday, only to be denied by a brilliant goal-line clearance.

Despite Ronaldo's inability to get his name among the goal scorers, his teammates Abdulrahman Ghareeb, Al Fatil, and substitute Mohammed Maran ensured Al-Nassr picked a vital win to reclaim the top spot

While it was uncharacteristic of the prolific Portuguese to get among the goal scorers, it was no fault of his as a perfect goal-line clearance robbed him of a stunning strike.

The 38-year-old was put through on goal as Al-Nassr went in search of an equalizer after falling behind early in the game.

A defender raced back to pull off a stunning clearance on the goal line to shut out the former Manchester United ace.
