Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi has expressed his joy after watching his side conquer Olympique Marseille on Sunday.
A brace from Kylian Mbappe and a strike from World Cup winner Lionel Messi were enough to hand Christophe Galtier's charges a resounding win against their bitterest rivals.
It was double delight for both Messi and Mbappe, who reached individual milestones during the encounter. Messi drew level with Cristiano Ronaldo to become the most prolific player across Europe's top five leagues with 700 club goals.
Conversely, Mbappe etched his name in PSG's history books, becoming the club's joint all-time top scorer, levelling on 200 goals with Edinson Cavani.

“I am very happy; we had a great match tonight, a great PSG. I have always trusted my players and my coach," he said, as quoted by PSG Report.
Khelaïfi added: "We really had a great game. It’s PSG. It’s our level. We won with the way. We played against a great Marseille side. There is a lot of positive.”

Marseille had high hopes of beating their greatest foes and cutting the gap to the league leaders down to just two points, but Mbappe opened the scoring in lethal fashion in the 25th minute from a Lionel Messi assist.
