Mason Greenwood has reportedly held the first meeting with Manchester United bosses. This is the first meeting the striker has had since his sexual assault charges were dropped at the start of the month.
Greenwood has been suspended from any of the club's activities for over an year as he battled court charges ranging from coercive behaviour to assault.

Details of the meeting remain scanty, with no clear timeline provided for Manchester United's processes. It is, however, reported that the officials want to hear Greenwood's side of the story before deciding on what next steps to take.
The club is already facing pressure from within after it was reported that members of the women's team are uncomfortable with the 21-year-old being reintroduced into the fold.
This comes at a time when ten Hag provided the first indications that he might be willing to welcome him back to his first-team squad.

FootballSports Brief reported that Greenwood talked with ten Hag in a private phone conversation. The publication indicated that the head coach explained to the striker that his chances of coming back into the fold rested with the club and not him(ten Hag).
It is also the first time that ten Hag has talked to Greenwood since taking over the club last summer. Earlier communications had been done through a third party.
