The Canadian failed to get the Argentine’s shirt on his first attempt in 2020 when Bayern Munich had thrashed Barcelona 8-2 in the Champions League quarterfinals.
Davies had later revealed Messi had denied his request when he asked for his shirt as he was a little bit upset after the result and vowed to get it on his next opportunity, Daily Mirror reports.

The 22-year-old finally got his wish after Bayern Munich inflicted another loss on Messi, but this time with his PSG team in the round-of-16 first-leg tie on Tuesday, February 14.
Davies moved towards Messi at the final whistle and got the shirt of the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner as a souvenir for the match.
