Freiburg's brace-hero Vincenzo Grifo has dedicated his goals to teammate and Ghanaian midfielder Daniel-Kofi Kyereh.
Kyereh will miss the rest of the season after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament tear during training last Thursday.
The 26-year-old has undergone a successful surgery but his debut campaign in the German topflight league painfully came to an end over the weekend.
During the match against Stuttgart, Freiburg players wore t-shirts with the name of Kyereh and his number in show of solidarity to the Ghanaian.

Grifo, who scored a brace as Freiburg came from behind to beat Stuttgart, celebrated his first goal by raising the jersey of Kyereh who was watching from the stands.
Kyereh in clutches joined his teammates after the game to enjoy the win.
Kyereh responds to Freiburg's show of support
He wrote:
"Thank you all for your compassion and your numerous recovery wishes that have reached me in all possible ways and I ask all of you who thought of me and prayed for me to say a prayer for the people affected by the misfortune in Turkey and Syria. Because if it helps me and gives me strength, it will help others too!"

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that players of Freiburg walked onto the pitch before their Bundesliga game against VfB Stuttgart wearing shirts bearing the name and jersey number of Daniel-Kofi Kyereh.

Kyereh names Neymar as idol
Ghana midfielder, Daniel-Kofi Kyereh has named Brazilian forward, Neymar Junior as his childhood hero, stating he watched and learned from the PSG star.
Kyereh, who plays for Freiburg in the Bundesliga, is loved by Ghanaians for his contributions to the Black Stars since making his debut in September 2021.
The 26-year-old represented Ghana at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations and the World Cup in 2022.
