Born in Ghana, he moved to Germany at a very young age and his career took time to kick off. However, he went from playing in the Bundesliga III to the German top flight within three years.

Kyereh confessed that most of his skills were from watching YouTube videos of Neymar.

“It’s Neymar Jr,” he told Pulse after he was asked about his favourite player. “The first time saw him when he played for Santos at his first club in Brazil, he was 16 years and around that time and I was 12 years old."

Kyereh said it was the Paris Saint-Germain star's style that he loved most, as well as the enjoyment the Ghanaian had watching him in action.

“Since then, I always checked on YouTube for new skill videos of him playing football. I will get my ball and meet with friends or alone to learn the dribbling skills he did in the videos."

Kyereh joined Freiburg from Bundesliga II side, St Pauli in the summer transfer window after almost leading the Browns back in the German top tier.
