Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard was brought on late in the 1-0 loss to Manchester City in the fourth round of the FA Cup to try and salvage the game to no avail.
A moment of misunderstanding occurred between the captain and midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga who was brought on to replace injured Thomas Partey at halftime.
As noted by Sportskeeda, some Arsenal fans ripped into the Belgian after the incident with the captain, however some of the Gunners fans viewed things differently and berated the captain.

As revealed by a video posted on Twitter by ESPN FC, Lokonga tracked the run of Bernardo Silva, while leaving Julian Alvarez free to roam, much to the dismay of Odegaard.

Some Arsenal fans do not agree with the captain and claimed he should have been the one making sure the World Cup winner is not a free man.

Honestly I think odegaard should have been the one marking that particular man and lokonga could have been a bit tighter to the runner but overall he was covering the right area
