AFC Bournemouth's newest signing, Antoine Semenyo, has disclosed that he is living the dream of his father after choosing to become a footballer.
Semenyo loved Basketball growing up in the streets of London, but his father whose football career was thwarted early, encouraged his son to play football.
The Ghana international made a dream move from the English Championship to the Premier League after signing a four-and-a-half year deal to join Bournemouth.
Speaking after his signing, Semenyo expressed excitement as he paid tribute to his father, Larry Semenyo, for identifying the talent in him.

Football"Yea, he was a big influence. When I was young, It's funny I didn't like football like I do now. I liked Basketball and he used to take me to the park, kicking the ball left right. and as years went on just started loving the game and it's through him I got to love the game and embraced it. I embraced it for him and he can say the same thing now," he told Bournemouth media.
"He is proud. I mean it's been a long journey, it was tough. It's nice to reap the rewards now," he added.
Semenyo before joining Bournemouth, scored 21 goals and provided 22 assists in 125 matches for Bristol City.
