The Ghana international has now scored six goals in the English championship this season, four of his strikes are in 2023.

His outstanding performances has seen him attract interest from several clubs including Crystal Palace and Rangers.

Bristol City confirm Bournemouth offer

Bristol City manager Nigel Pearson has confirmed interest from Bournemouth and Burnley for the services of the Ghanaian striker.

“We’ve received offers of a fashion from Bournemouth and Burnley too. And there is speculation about other clubs. It can be potentially very unsettling for players and that’s why I very much believe in being as frank and open as possible," Pearson said as quoted by GHANASoccernet.
"Antoine is a young man who’s had a pretty good couple of years now, on a personal level in terms of breaking into the side and showing not just potential but his ability to perform at a very good level. The one thing he’s working harder to do now is scoring more goals and, like many forwards, he’ll go through spells of achieving that but even when he’s not doing that he’s still a real handful."

Semenyo makes Ghana debut

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Bristol City forward Antoine Semenyo made his debut in Ghana's 3-0 win over Madagascar in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on Wednesday.

The 22-year-old was introduced in the 75th minute for AS Roma youngster Felix Afena-Gyan who got his debut goal for the Black Stars.

The London-born attacker had little time to show his full potential but was very mobile on the pitch within the few minutes he played.
