Liverpool striker, Roberto Firmino found faith in the sport in 2020 through club and national teammate, Alisson Becker and has become a new man ever since.
He was baptised on January 15, 2020 in a swimming pool with the help of Alisson and Brazil Christian musician, Isaias Saad, as reported by Christianity Today.

The moment was shared on Instagram by Firmino.
Firmino preaches in church
Three years on from his absorption into the faith, the 31-year-old is taking to the church pulpit in his native Brazil to preach the gospel, as reported by Nobelie.
His Instagram page is filled with pictures of his time on the pulpit, including his top three pinned posts.

Garvin Peacock now a pastor
Sports Brief earlier reported on former Chelsea player, Garvin Peacock preaching the gospel in Canada after retiring from professional football.
The former QPR striker never hid his faith during his playing days, and his Twitter profile read 'associate pastor' while he was still active in the sport.
Peacock is one of many past and present professional footballers who have taken up the way of the gospel.
