Fan gives thanks after bet

Meanwhile, a Nigerian football fan was spotted on social media, running into a mosque for thanksgiving, after staking just N800 to win a massive N38-million in a bet.

It was an amazing moment, as people gathered at the betting shop to see which games the man had played to make him win such a huge amount.

After rushing to the betting centre to check the results, he immediately ran into a nearby mosque to perform ablutions, Sports Brief reported.

Musa donates to Cameroon mosque

Sports Brief also reported on Ahmed Musa, captain of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, donating N600,000 to a mosque in Cameroon, during the last AFCON tournament.

The former Premier League star is a devoted Muslim, and has many times posted about his faith and belief to his many followers on social media.

According to reports by Pulse and Platinum, Musa and Sadiq Umar had prayed at the Central Mosque in Garoua since arriving in Cameroon for AFCON last year.
