When did he leave Arsenal?

Podolski was at the Emirates Stadium from 2012 to 2015, featuring in 60 games for the Gunners and netting 19 goals.

He was later loaned to Inter Milan, where he played 17 games before being permanently sold to Galatasaray.

The German is no longer playing for Arsenal, and now turns out in the colours of Polish side, Gornik Zabrze.

Podolski is known for his explosive shots, technique and probing attacks from the left side.

Arsenal, on the other hand, are doing well this season in the Premier League and have been tipped to win the title at the end of the term.

Podolski sent off in tournament

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how former Arsenal star, Podolski was bizarrely sent off during his own charity match over the weekend.

Podolski was in action against Rot-Weiss Essen during the Schauinsland Reisen Cup competition, a charity initiative he has been involved in for many years.

The striker was red carded during the semi-final encounter. His booking came after a referee awarded a penalty against him, prompting the German to lose his cool and throw a water bottle towards the group of match officials.
