  • Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo will square off for possibly the last time in their careers in Saudi Arabia.
  • Ronaldo will captain Riyadh XI against PSG for his debut since joining Al-Nassr.
  • A Saudi businessman has won the bid to own the ultimate pass to watch the two in action.

When Cristiano Ronaldo made the blockbuster move to Saudi Arabia, it felt like it would be the last time we would see him play against Lionel Messi in their decorated careers that has 12 Ballon d'Or's between them.

It was meant to be, so it is. Riyadh XI consisting of Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal players will square off against Paris Saint-Germain in the Riyadh Season Cup at King Fahd stadium.

However, a $2.6m golden ticket has been bought by Saudi businessman and real estate investor Musharraf bin Ahmed Al-Ghamdi. The money will go to Ihsan platform, as announced by KSA Society on Twitter.

According to Khaleej Times, the ticket allows the holder to attend the opening ceremony and sit next to Turki Al Sheikh, meet Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar, and Mbappé by gaining access to both locker rooms, attend the Gala lunch and take part in the group photo with the winning team.

Ronaldo hangs out with family before debut

Sports Brief earlier reported that Cristiano Ronaldo enjoyed time with his family ahead of his debut as the captain of Riyadh XI against Lionel Messi's PSG.

The Portuguese is yet to make his debut in Saudi Arabia, due to a suspension he accumulated while in England for slamming a young fan's phone in a game against Everton.

He alongside his partner Georgina Rodriguez and five kids explored the beautiful city of Riyadh ahead of his potential last game against longtime rival and World Cup winner Messi.
