Former Premier League striker Troy Deeney has expressed concern over Antonio Conte’s future at Tottenham as the North Londoners prepare for a crunch derby against Arsenal.

Deeney believes Conte could be sacked if Tottenham end up losing the derby on Sunday, January 15.

Spurs go into the game a massive 11 points behind Arsenal, who are running away at the top of the Premier League table.

"They have fallen so far behind Arsenal. They have flattered to deceive and not only do they need a performance, this is a must-win." He said as quoted on SportBible.

"There is so much frustration and disappointment that if they lose badly, where next? I don’t see them recovering for the rest of the season."

Tottenham have not made the best of restarts after the World Cup, as they have only won two out of four of their recent games since Qatar.

That run of form has seen them concede fourth place to Manchester United, who have won all seven of the games they played since club football resumed.
